Turn Off Facebook Location Sharing On Chat
From past years Facebook has changed a lot. Many changes have been made in layout, services, privacy etc. From all those Facebook also added a new service is known as "Location Sharing Service". This is the service that shares your location with your friends when you post on your wall and send private message to your friend. It gets your location through the wi-fi connection you are using on your device and automatically attach it with the post or message you send. This is a good service actually but some people want privacy and they don't to share their locations with others and they don't like this option. I have seen on internet people are searching "How To Turn Off Location Sharing Service From Messenger And Web?". There is no option available in Facebook privacy or account setting to turn this option off. Its no big deal to turn this service off. If you are using on web, the location box will be on the left bottom corner on post box that will look like this.
You can turn it off easily when you are using FB on your computer.Simply move your cursor to the sign "x" appearing in the post box and click on it to remove your location from that post. However this is not permanently off. You to remove this every time you don't want to share your location.
To Turn Off Location Service On Mobile
If you are using from mobile then you can remove your location from setting permanently for all messages and wall post. All you have to do is Go To Setting> Location Service and Turn It Off (for Facebook).
